Refinansieringsprosessen: Hva er det og hvordan fungerer det?

Det kan være både smart og lønnsomt for deg å refinansiere dersom du har lån. Her skal vi forklare hva det er og hvordan det fungerer.

Hva er refinansiering?

Å refinansiere er å gjøre endringer på et allerede eksisterende lån. Dette er typisk å erstatte flere små lån med ett nytt lån. Det er flere gode grunner til å gjøre dette, men det er særlig tre hovedgrunner til at det kan være lønnsomt å refinansiere et lån.

  1. Du får bedre rentebetingelser. 
  2. Du øker rammen på lånet.

Fordeler med rentebetingelser

Det at man får bedre rentebetingelser er en av hovedgrunnene til at man refinansierer lånene sine, fordi det kan ha stor betydning på hvor mye du ender opp med å betale for lånene dine til syvende og sist. Du kan refinansiere forskjellige typer lån, som alt i alt kan gi deg bedre oversikt over hvor mye du betaler og hva du betaler for. Hvis du for eksempel velger å refinansiere forbruksgjeld online, så kan det være at rentene har økt siden du tok opp lånet, og da kan du forhandle med en bank eller en annen långiver om å få bedret betingelsene dine. 

Du kan også refinansiere boliglån for bedre betingelser, som er spesielt relevant dersom boligen din har økt i verdi. For å kunne gjøre en refinansiering av boliglånet så må du ha en oppdatert verditakst på boligen for å kunne få refinansiering av lånet. En forhandling med banken kan ha mye å si for hvor gunstig refinansieringen blir, og hvor mye du kommer til å betale for lånet ditt. 

Raskere nedbetaling

Ved å refinansiere lånet ditt, så har du mulighet for å sitte igjen med mere penger som du kan bruke på andre ting. Det kan være lurt å bruke disse pengene til å betale ned gjelden sin, som fører til at du kan nedbetale den raskere og dermed spare penger. Man kan også flytte lånet man har til en annen bank, dersom du ikke får forhandlet de rette løsningene med din nåværende bank. Du bør i dette tilfellet undersøke hvilke renteløsninger du kan få hos ulike banker, slik at du forsikrer deg om at du har funnet en som er konkurransedyktig i markedet. 

Samle lånet ditt

En annen god grunn til å refinansiere lån, er at man har muligheten til å samle lånene sine, og dermed få bedre rente på dem, og for å få en mer oversiktlig økonomi. De aller fleste synes det er lettere å skulle forholde seg til et lån av gangen, fremfor å ha mange forskjellige smålån som de skal holde styr på. Dersom du ønsker mer oversikt over din egen økonomi, så kan en refinansiering være en god måte å gjøre det på. 

Refinansier med 3 enkle steg

Det er i hovedsak bare tre enkle steg som skal til for å starte refinansieringen. Den ser slik ut: 

  1. Få en oversikt over lånene dine. Hvor mange lån har du, og hvem skylder du penger?
  2. Sammenligne ulike tilbud. Du må sjekke ut hvor du kan refinansiere, og hvilke tilbud du kan få hos de ulike. 
  3. send inn en lånesøknad. Når du har funnet banken du gjerne vil bruke for å refinansiere, så kan du sende inn en søknad om refinansiering på nett.

Refinansiering av lån kan være en god måte å få bedre lånevilkår på. Da har du muligheten til å samle et lån til flere smålån, slik at du kan få bedre rentevilkår, og bedre oversikt over egen økonomi.
